Precision fabricated from high quality hardened stainless steel and robust to withstand a maximum applied load dependent upon pellet mold diameter.
The assembly includes a main body, an optically polished stainless steel pellet base, a stainless steel plunger with modified center hole, a stainless steel plunger to match the center hole diameter and a stainless steel sample extractor sleeve to facilitate sample removal. The assembled dimensions with the modified plunger fully inserted and without a sample matrix for the custom pellet mold is 4.50" H x 2" O. D. (add 2" for the extractor sleeve to account for a 6.50" overall height).
The custom package includes a modified 1.125" pellet mold assembly with 12 filter pads and a 5.50" diameter stainless steel fluid pan.

Tips
- allow 6mm minimum to locate the die plunger into the die chamber in order to follow the die chamber wall.
- review of the chamber height to confirm there is adequate height to fabricate a pellet to the desired pellet thickness.
- ensure there sufficient height for the die assembly with sample between the top and bottom press rams.
- ready for dual purpose larger sampling need with the purchase of a standard 1.125” plunger.
