Each pellet die is precision fabricated from high quality hardened 440C stainless steel. The assembly includes a die chamber, a bottom anvil and a plunger. The assembled height of the pellet die with the stepped base and plunger installed but without a powdered sample is 29mm. The die chamber specifically measures 25mm O.D x 12mm H with a stepped base permitting a 8mm fillable height for the powdered sample.
