Key Features

• Continuous 360° Rotation: an unrestricted, free-rotating ring mechanism equipped with an absolute 360° scale (1° markings) for rapid orientation and reference.

• Dual-Speed Manual Control:

Coarse Adjustment: 100° per revolution with a locking brake, turn counting, and an extended range of up to 2099° before rollover.

Fine Adjustment: 0.2° resolution markings with 10° per revolution for ultra-fine alignment.

• Absolute Vernier Scales: Includes both a fixed-position and an adjustable-position absolute vernier scale (1° markings) for precise, repeatable angular readouts.

• Flexible Component Integration: Accommodates large optical rings up to 5.55” (141 mm) OD and clear apertures up to 4.80” (122 mm). Bare, un-mounted optics can be easily coupled using o-rings.

• Robust Mechanical Design: Built to maintain stability across any orientation under balanced load conditions, featuring a slotted base for optical table positioning and a center post mount configuration.

Customization & Modular Options

To tailor this mount to your specific experimental or industrial requirements, several factory-configured options and upgrades are available:

• Motorization Package: Integrates a NEMA-14 frame 4-wire stepper motor that actuates the ring at 0.05° (3 arc-minutes) per full step. Micro-stepping configurations easily drive ring actuation down into the sub-arc-second range.

• Control Systems: Compatible with simple handheld controllers or advanced PLC systems featuring touchscreen interfaces.

• Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV): In-vacuum and UHV bakeable variants available for sealed or high-vacuum environments.

• Multi-Component Upgrade: A secondary adjustable angle guide with a reversible design permits the mounting of up to four optical rings simultaneously.

• Custom Optical Adapters: Optional optical ring adapters available upon request (specify desired OD and clear ID at time of order). Non-circular apertures can be custom-machined upon request.
