REFLEX Analytical introduces a new accessory for low volume 17ml gas analysis at elevated temperatures with a unique optical path
that is designed to maximize energy throughput and optimize sensitivity. The cell can be used for static or flow through investigations. It is a fixed pathlength 10cm stainless steel cell whose body is isolated from the mounting plate by a thermal insulator and metal protective enclosure which prevents heat transfer within an instrument's sample compartment. As pictured (click on the above image to enlarge),
the cell incorporates a dual band heater, type K thermocouple, stainless steel ports with 1/4" Swagelok fittings and programmable temperature controller with USB computer interface. The cell can be configured for breadboard and FTIR instrumentation.
Scroll below to order the standard gas cell designs with viton seals rated at 200°C, kalrez seals rated at 260°C and specialty seals rated at 325°C. For more demanding applications, the cell can be configured to operate at temperatures up to 500°C upon special request. Recall to specify your spectrometer make and model.
An optional choice of transmission materials include but are not limited to KBr Potassium Bromide, NaCl Sodium Chloride, BaF2 Barium Fluoride, CaF2 Calcium Fluoride and ZnSe Zinc Selenide.
