Infrared Polarizers
REFLEX Analytical offers the largest selection of near infrared, mid-infrared,
far infrared and free-standing polarizers. Operating across a broad spectral range (1 -
1000 microns) materials include BaF2 Barium Fluoride, CaF2
Calcium Fluoride, Ge Germanium, KRS-5 Thallium Bromide Iodide, ZnSe Zinc Selenide,
Polyethylene and Polyester. Free-standing wire grids are fabricated using tungsten or
beryllium-copper wire. Configurations for high vacuum, high temperature or cryogenic
conditions are available upon request.
The standard polarizer assemblies provide for 2mm thick material mounted in a 40mm o.d. retaining ring offering a 25mm clear working aperture. As an option, the ringed assemblies can be installed in optical bench polarizer mounts. Mounted or unmounted 42mm, 50mm and 75mm large area polarizers can also be provided. Submit specifications for non-standard sizes.
