In response to requests offered by the scientific community and contributing to a cleaner environment, REFLEX Analytical proudly and responsibly shares a new development in sealed liquid transmission cell flow through sampling that is RoHS compliant. RoHS also known as Lead-Mercury-Free, stands for Restriction of Hazardous Substances. To eliminate the Lead and Mercury amalgam seal normally associated with the older sealed liquid transmission cell designs, the new advanced design uses leak free fluoropolymer seals which are isolated from the liquid sample.

All of the RoHS compliant sealed liquid flow through transmission cells offer a 18mm circular aperture (as pictured). The Stainless Steel cell consists of a front plate with knurled luer fittings for flow through interface, a back plate, a PTFE pathlength spacer sandwiched between a 47.50mm circular drilled and undrilled window assembled with fluoropolymer seals. Choose from the following standard pathlengths: 1.0mm (0.47ml volume), 2.0mm (0.94ml volume) and 4.0mm (1.88ml volume). Available transmission window materials include CaF2 Calcium Fluoride and ZnSe Zinc Selenide while other materials are optional. If required for quantification, cell calibration and matching is available as an optional service and should be indicated upon ordering.

Cell Calibration & Matching
Liquid cell calibration is required for quantitative analysis but if performing qualitative investigations, then cell calibration is not necessary.

REFLEX Analytical's standard liquid cell calibration is within 10% of the cell's nominal pathlength for a single cell. If two or more cells are ordered and cell calibration & matching is required, then the cells are matched within 3% of the each cell's calibrated pathlength.
