P-E Sealed Liquid Transmission Cells
REFLEX Analytical offers Perkin-Elmer type cells with a 14mm FTIR circular aperture (as pictured). The stainless steel cell consists of a front plate with two welded luer fittings and PTFE plugs, a back plate, front gasket, rear gasket and an amalgamated window assembly comprised of a drilled and undrilled window. The window size is 38.5 x 19.5 x 4mm. The cell is assembled to a specified pathlength. Standard pathlengths are 0.015mm, 0.025mm, 0.05mm, 0.10mm, 0.20mm, 0.50mm, 1.0mm, 5.0mm and 10.0mm. Scroll below for order details.

If required for quantification, cell calibration and matching is available as an optional service and should be indicated upon ordering. REFLEX Analytical also offers a sealed cell reconditioning service in an effort to recycle and preserve resources.

Sealed cell assemblies with other transmission materials not limited to NaCl Sodium Chloride, KBr Potassium Bromide, CaF2 Calcium Fluoride, BaF2 Barium Fluoride, KRS-5 Thallium Bromide Iodide and ZnSe Zinc Selenide remain as options and can be ordered separately. Sealed sandwich cells are also available. Refer to http://www.reflexusa.com/sandwichcells.html

Cell Calibration & Matching
Liquid cell calibration is required for quantitative analysis but if performing qualitative investigations, then cell calibration is not necessary.

REFLEX Analytical's standard liquid cell calibration is within 10% of the cell's nominal pathlength for a single cell. If two or more cells are ordered and cell calibration & matching is required, then the cells are matched within 3% of the each cell's calibrated pathlength.
