500C Solids Cell

This high temperature solids cell permits transmission mode measurement of solid samples up to 500C. The cell consists of a heated stainless steel cavity surrounded by an aluminum cooling jacket. A water cooled jacket maintains the outer surface at a safe temperature to prevent heating of the sample compartment. Two high vacuum valves are installed for demanding requirements. Chemical resistant "o" rings and teflon seals are used. A low voltage heater is used in conjunction with a high stability automatic temperature controller. The assembly is baseplate mounted.
