This ATR microsampler is an innovative alternative to infrared microscopes, beam condensers and diamond anvil cells. Suitable for forensic samples and combinatorial chemistry samples. The accessory employs a Silicon internal reflection element achieving optimal contact within a small sampling area - less than 0.2mm in diameter. A calibrated pressure applicator is inherent for reproducible results and flips upward allowing for easy access to the sampling area. The unit permits uninterrupted purge when exchanging samples. This offer includes a sample holder for analyzing powders and two (2) holders with mounted silicon hemispheres. Holders with different IRE materials (Diamond, Ge, ZnSe & ZnS) are also available. For magnified viewing of the sampling area, an illuminated 50X microscope upgrade can be provided as an add-on feature.
