Fiber Optics, Probes & Sensors

Product Description
This offer provides for a high temperature-high pressure,
fixed pathlength fiber optic transmission probe. The
standard stainless steel assembly sustains a 10mm path
although pathlengths 1 - 20mm can be substituted upon
ordering. The probe is designed as a single pass system
with proprietary sapphire to metal seals. The system is
rated to perform at pressures up to 500psi and at
temperatures between -30 to 300C. Higher pressure assemblies
are available upon request. Optional probe fabricating
alloys include Hastelloy and Titanium. The probe is 0.75"
in diameter x 9.25" length with fused silica optics and
sapphire windows. It accepts Low OH Silica, 600 micron core
diameter fibers up to a maximum 100 meter fiber length.
This probe is ideal for NIR (near infrared) measurements.
Applications include permanent side-stream or on-line
analysis of liquid process streams. It may be dipped into
liquid samples at the lab bench or inserted into reaction
vessels.
Fiber optics has become the means for process control and
remote sample analysis. Real-time monitoring of chemical
compositions using fiber optic sampling systems has proven
to be an efficient and cost-effective analytical tool.
Combining spectroscopy-grade fiber optic cables, high
sensitivity probes and sensors with integrated single and
multi-channel systems, easily permits the performance of
remote infrared spectroscopy methods.
Choose from seven different sensors depending on your
specific application. Each of the seven remote sensors can
be coupled to a single detector optimized for the chosen
spectral range which can extend to 11 micron if necessary.
All sensors offer advanced designs which deliver the highest
sensitivity, spectral accuracy and measurement stability.
