The Variable Pathlength Liquid Cell (VPLC) series permits
continuous adjustment of sample pathlength from 0 - 6mm.
The VPLC is preferred for liquids analysis without dilution
and an excellent analytical tool for differential analysis.
The cell's pathlength can be adjusted with precision to
provide peak intensity for both weak and strong bands. The
micrometer and venier scales provide for accurate pathlength
setting and readability in graduated divisions of 0.0005mm.
The cell volume at maximum pathlength is 4.5ml.
The standard design consists of a stainless steel
cylindrical chamber containing parallel windows. For
reactive or corrosive liquids, optional teflon lined cells
are available. Additionally, flow through cells can
be provided for applications requiring liquid kinetics.
The order details provide for a VPLC assembled with
non-rotating KBr Potassium Bromide windows. VPLC assemblies
with other transmission materials remain as options and can
