REFLEX Analytical has introduced a new HPLC for liquid flow through, mulls and smears analysis at elevated temperatures and pressures. Its demountable assembly permits pathlength variation with a choice of stainless steel spacers (specify 0.1mm, 0.2mm, 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm or 5mm when ordering). The cell can operate at temperatures up to 200C with viton seals, 240C with kalrez seals, 500C with metal seals and is rated at 5000 psi maximum.
Its design permits direct sample and cell temperature monitoring. To minimize heat transfer to the spectrometer, the 3" x 2" mount is water
cooled. A type K thermocouple, stainless steel ports with 1/16" Swagelok fittings and programmable temperature controller with RS-232 computer interface accompany the cell as standard components. The cell can be configured for breadboard and FTIR instrumentation. Low pressure, non-heated cell versions with assorted 6 - 1000um
teflon spacers and 1/16" Swagelok or luer fittings are available upon request.
An optional choice of transmission materials include but are not limited to NaCl Sodium Chloride, KBr Potassium Bromide, CaF2 Calcium Fluoride, BaF2 Barium Fluoride, KRS-5 Thallium Bromide Iodide and ZnSe Zinc Selenide.
