Heated Gas Cell
Product Description
This is a high performance 250C, low volume gas cell. Its
pathlength is 1.0 meter. The cell volume is 600ml.
Engineered to offer high sensitivity and rapid analysis
without the need for large volumes of sample.
The design offers unique multiple internal reflections to achieve a high pathlength to volume ratio while at the same time maintaining high energy throughput. Gold coated mirrors serve to focus the infrared beam through the cell; directing the beam to the spectrometer's detector. The optics are prealigned for maximum energy throughput. KBr windows are supplied as standard. Other transmission window materials can be provided.
The cell is baseplate mounted accompanied with a dual temperature controller to accurately monitor the cell and transfer line temperature. These may be control and monitored independently up to 250C. A perfect complement for a TGA-FTIR interface.
As an option, a high pressure design is available for direct sampling from high pressure sources. Additionally, gas reference spectra and quantitative software packages are available. See spectral libraries for more information.
