Fiber optics has become the means for process control and
remote sample analysis. Real-time monitoring of chemical
compositions using fiber optic sampling systems has proven
to be an efficient and cost-effective analytical tool.
Combining spectroscopy-grade fiber optic cables, high
sensitivity probes and sensors with integrated single and
multi-channel systems, easily permits the performance of
remote infrared spectroscopy methods.
For optimal results, a detector module containing a high
performance detector and preamplifier is coupled to the
fiber optic signal from the sensor. Choose from seven
different sensors depending on your specific application
(see probes and sensors). A single spectrometer
with the use of a launch module can incorporate a
multi-channel system that monitors as many as seven
different sensors at seven different sample locations.
Each of the seven remote sensors is coupled to a single
detector optimized for the chosen spectral range which
can extend to 11 micron if necessary. All sensors offer
advanced designs which deliver the highest sensitivity,
spectral accuracy and measurement stability.
