30 Ton Auto Press
The 30 Ton Auto Press with an Integrated Pellet Die is proclaimed to be an advanced development in reply to requests offered by the XRF spectroscopic community.
The press design offers an economical solution which features automation to uniformly and reproducibly prepare briquettes. You may select or interchange between 32mm, 35mm and 40mm dies (see below and specify when ordering). The hydraulic power unit is electrically operated and completely self-contained. Contributing to convenient bench-top installation is its compactness which consumes less than 1.50 square feet.
The press is a simple two button operation. Depress and maintain depression on the "Up" button until the desired force is achieved on the analog pressure gauge then release the "Up" button and experience dwell time. To terminate the dwell period, depress the "Down" button to decompress then remove the pellet fabricated from the integrated die. The integrated die is perfect for briquetting the same diameter size pellets. The integrated die eliminates the need to handle, disassemble, extract and reassemble as is normally required with other dies.
The electronics provide for generating force in one ton increments up to 30 tons and pressure in 50 psi increments up to 3000 psi. The press assembly consists of rigid side slab construction and 4" round platen. The ram stroke is 1.75" with maximum 7.0" daylight. Press dimensions are 18.5"H x 14.5"W x 14.5"D. Weighs 210 lbs. Specify 115V or 230V electrical requirement.
